Dial M for Marriage: a guy dreams about a random phone number, can't get it out of his mind, so he sends a fateful text message:

1. Here's another link with the story:

LONDON (Reuters) - A British man has met and married a 22-year-old woman after, by his own account, dreaming of her phone number and then sending her a text message.

David Brown, 24, says he woke up one morning after a night out with friends with a telephone number constantly running through his head. He decided to contact it, sending a message saying "Did I meet you last night?."

Random recipient Michelle Kitson was confused and wary at first but decided to reply and the two began exchanging messages. Eventually they met and fell in love.

...

A love-struck Brown said: "I've no idea how I ended up with her number in my head -- it's only a few digits different from mine."

2. That magic moment.
See, if it had been me and someone text'd me "Did we meet last night?," I'd assume it was spam and delete it before I got a follow-up message saying, "Call and increase your penis size by 3 inches."

3. But remember, this didn't happen in the US.
If it had been in the US, you would have received the follow-up *male enhancement* offer and a plea from a Nigerian prince.

;)

5. You know by now, you'd think that the bribones who come up with
those phony Nigerian scam deals would use another country because it's such a red flag. Heaven forbid that someone in Nigeria ACTUALLY need help.

6. A real plea for help would probably sound less like a scam ... But this could be you --

:D
