1. I'm sorry but my heart is just breaking.
Tiny pieces everywhere and my head hurts, my eyes are burning with tears and I just hope Sen. Kennedy's wishes for us can be fulfilled.

2. I remember going into Dallas for the 40th anniversary of JFK's death
and the singing of America the Beautiful today reminded me of the moment that we joined a large crowd that had formed in the middle of the street (police had blocked the street off to accomodate the crowds that had gathered for the day) where JFK's motorcade was when the first shot was fired...everyone started spontaneously singing..if I remember correctly the group was singing God Bless America. It was such a touching, emotional moment...Dealey Plaza was filled ALL DAY with crowds of people just sitting/standing around for hours, long after the rememberance ceremony had ended.
