But to answer your question, I used that link because that's where I happened to read the story, & I guess I just felt the substantive material would be of interest to fellow DU'ers, and that any reader here was sufficiently discerning to handle a despicable source without filtering.
If you're wondering why I was scanning Fox "News", I would suspect I'm not the only one here who casts a wide net in what they read and find informative.
And, failing to be privy to RNC strategy sessions with their marketing gurus, Fox "News", along with RW hate radio, is probably the most time-efficient place to encounter unadulterated RW propaganda, and deduce what RW talking points & strategy will show up in a few days at CNN, AP, and other pseudo-"liberal" "MSM" outlets.
Then occasionally one actually encounters interesting news in the process of seeing what the propagandists are up to.
You ask a relevant question. And perhaps it would have been better to have found the information at a less objectionable site.
But then that brings up the question of whether news organizations, such as CNN & others, that tilt strongly toward the distribution of RW talking points while simultaneously being falsely portrayed by Fox as "liberal MSM", are actually more dangerous than the overt dirtbags at Fox "News".
