I just had the most horrible thought about Teddy's funeral.
Thank ALL the gods that he lived until Obama was in office. Can you imagine if the Shrub had had to give the eulogy?

1. Fuckface would not have given the eulogy -
he would not have been invited to do that.

It's up to the family, and they would never have had him. Not even close...................

2. The family would have chosen someone else to deliver the Eulogy.
they would not pick a Bush to deliver a Kennedy eulogy.. there are tooo many wrongs in that entire equation. Kennedy had passed the torch to Obama, it made sense to have the Historical figure of the first black President give the Eulogy for a Kennedy of historic preportions in his own right.

3. Good, I find that reassuring.
I thought there might be some protocol thing where the President was supposed to deliver a eulogy for a long-serving Senator who died in office, regardless of the family's wishes. Makes me feel better to know that couldn't have happened.

5. What a scary and depressing thought. You are right. Horrible. Thank goodness that

there is protocal and tradition, but that it is up to the family. Another honor for Pres. Obama.

I don't have a tv and missed any interviews Bush Jr gave - were there any? If yes, How'd He Do?

6. He didn't give any interviews that I heard of, fortunately.
He sat in the pews and had that sucking-sour-lemons look you always get on the face of a childish narcissist who can't stand someone else being the center of attention, even that someone else has just died.

I remember reading years ago an article saying something to the effect that he has ISSUES with death, and that's why he never went to the funerals of soldiers who'd died in his wars. Fuck his issues, they're fortunately no longer relevant to anyone except the handlers who have the misfortune of wiping his surly drunk ass.

8. I think he was just too plain lazy and didn't give a shit about the
soldiers that died for his stupid war. he has issues alright but I don't think that's one of them.

4. "Can you imagine...". Yes, as a matter of fact, I can.
It would have gone down in comedy history - after a couple of years had passed and people stopped being horrified at what they had witnessed.

Or Kkkarl and Dick could've had it translated to Arabic for use as a WMD.

9. If not Obama, he would have been eulogized by Kerry, Dodd, or Clinton -- anyone but BUSH!
