Company To Measure Guests' Reactions To Attractions, Report Says

ORLANDO, Fla. -- Walt Disney World may soon start tracking guests' reactions to attractions, rides and shows by asking them to wear a headset that measures brainwaves, according to a Web site.

WDWMagic.com says the device, created by EmSense, will be used at Disney World beginning this month. It's not known what Disney parks will utilize the device.

According to the site, guests who volunteer would wear the headset, which measures and records their brainwave responses to various stimuli, for about one to two hours.

The device, called the EmBand, has already been used at Disneyland, the site said.

1. I should wear it while I am having impure thoughts about the actress playing Jasmine in Epcot.
Did I say that out loud?

2. They can use those days that the fundies have "family day" to recalibrate all the machines
since there won't be any brain waves to measure.

3. Reminds me of an article I read in the New Yorker I think
Discussing brain scan lie detectors.

Concluded that there was no sound science behind brain scan lie detectors.

They did find however that people were almost hypnotically convinced by statements that began with "Brain scan studies show that . . . ."

And thus a huge market for brain scan equipment is born. Justice, on the other hand . . . .
