American democracy treats everyone equally.
The poor, as well as the rich, have the right to buy entire television channels to transmit lies and distortions in order to deceive the public.

The poor, as well as the rich, have the right to buy their own politicians to pass legislation that will serve their financial interests.

The poor, as well as the rich, have the right to buy whatever health care they can afford.

So what's the problem? What is it you Goddamn bleeding-heart liberals don't get about Freedom and the American Way?

1. It might help if you added sarcasm.

Other than that, this is a good explanation of how capitalism contradicts democracy.

2. I'm allergic to the sarcasm thingie.
If people can't read your intent without it, then there's either something wrong with you or with them. I like to think most people on this board can recognize the point of anything as broad as what I wrote here.

3. Yeah, and the poor have the money to do all those things
that the rich do too, I guess....

Use the sarcasm tag like this :sarcasm:

a colon ( : ) the word "sarcasm" (without quotes) and another colon ( : ) and there you have it!

Maybe I need to make myself more clear. I consider it an insult to imply with the Sarcasm thingie that I think my readers are too stupid to figure out the sarcasm without my having to label it. Did Jonathan Swift need to call his essay "A Modest Proposal :sarcasm: ?"

Well, OK, now that I think about it, this one is just for you: :sarcasm:

5. Remember what P.T. Barnum said...
"Nobody ever went broke underestimating the intelligence of the American public."

7. I don't get the fact that the Supremes believe that
corporations are people. That is Fascism.
