5. I think that ultimately, reorganizing on a community/regional level is a good thing

because there is never going to be a single system that pleases everyone, and what we're winding up with using the strong central government model is not helping matters at all.

It makes more sense that communities organize around their beliefs and lifestyles, and police their own, rather than leave that to a third party.

I know this idea isn't popular, although ultimately it's what will have to happen, as our Empire is now on the decline.

So more power to these folks. I sincerely hope they're able to achieve their goal.

I think that most Republicans don't really know what they believe. They just long for a imaginary golden age of the past - "Leave it to Beaver", "Ozzy and Harriet" and "Father Knows Best" land.

As a nation we are "stuck on stupid" due to allowing the 28%ers to dominate and control the political "discourse" in this country ("You lie!").

discover what they have wrought, we'll have to deal with them as illegal immigrants. When they discover they'll still have to pay taxes or have no Social Security, no roads to drive on, no police, no health care, no army, no nothing, they'll discover their folly. Then again, maybe they just want to live like the pioneers of the 19th century - more power to them. We may have to build fences to reinforce the borders, though.
