So according to Jon Stewart
When under Reagan we the people issued an apology to the Japanese Americans imprisoned during WWII that was a waste of the peoples time? These people should just of sucked it up and move on? It's just pointlessly chasing our ass? We got the peoples business to do?

If our houses of congress aren't places to air public grievances (even I guess petty ones) where is it appropriate? Angry blogs, the Glenn Beck show...

It is possible some requests for a public apology are appropriate.
