Call me stupid. I missed the opening of SNL. Was it good?

Loved the idea of Kanye interrupting Palin's quitter speech as the opening skit, posted earlier today by another very funny DUer.

And then, I started watching something I'd DVR'ed and forgot to turn it on.

Should I be kicking myself?

26. The Opening...

Spoof of Gadhafi's UN speech (C-Span)
Armesin was dressed exactly like Gadhafi.
And he had a BIG pin pinned to his chest of Africa.
He was jet lagged.

Said that his computer crashed.
Couldn't take it in to be fixed because of what was on it no one should see, he said: 'not terrorism stuff' but adult content.
Said that since computer was broken that is why he had to write his speech on paper while on the plane while everyone else was watching a movie.

Made a joke about the places he couldn't put up his tent and mentioned NEW JERSEY being one of the places (which brought to mind Armisen doing Paterson)

I can't remember much else, I was only half-listening because I DVD'd it to watch tomorrow.

p.s. In the first skit it was just Armisen, the voice of the interpreter, and they threw a few subtitles at the bottom of the screen - no other people.
