When Pres O gets a healthcare bill with a strong public option, I will consider him to be in the center. If he ends both of his wars and gets single payer, stops using signing statements, ejects the RWers he has in his administration, raises taxes on the rich including a tax on stock trades does away with don't ask, don't tell and a host of other left of center ideas, he will be (IMHO) a left leaning Democrat.
