I remember when Gorbechev came to Canada shortly before the end of the Soviet Union and travelled across our country seeing how democracy worked. It was Gorbechev who ended communism's reign in his country. He knew that it just didn't work. I am so sick and tired of the right-wingers claiming that Saint Ronald Reagan ended the cold war.....without even being challenged by Democrats.
