Someone posited an aerosol container. That would explain why it's cooler than the surrounding air.

7. Funny, but a prank...

were it real gas it would be WARMER than the surrounding air and therefor lighter colored (shaded) in the infrared. This stuff he's blowing out is darker (cooler) than the surrounding air. So he either has ice up his ass or is faking it with some sort of aerosol container (compressed gas cools as it expands).
