Will Phelps' protest at the VA Tech funerals finally be the breaking point?
Will this finally be the moment when somebody (or a group of somebodys) snaps and gives them the beatdown they so richly deserve?

1. I just want to know who funds them.

There is no way a band of ignorant hateful people like that could travel like they do and cause the trouble they do without a serious bankroll.

3. I heard that Phelps makes money from lawsuits
he starts against people and municipalities that try to keep him from protesting. In other words, he's hoping someone trashes the protesters so that he can sue. He's sick.

14. I can't even stick Bush in this guy's place.
Bush is incompetent and listens to the wrong people. That's the nice, please don't arrest me Agent Mike, version.

Phelps is allowed to say whatever he likes. What I don't understand is why people listen, give him press, and inflate his ego. He wants publicity. He gets it.

This guy should be boycotted. He is allowed to say what he likes. He is not allowed to have anything he says broadcast by the media, the press, anything.

4. Dear God, Bill Phelps!?
Can you provide a link? It's not that I don't believe you, but I want to see it for myself.

I have no patience for those who exploit tragedies like this

6. I doubt it. If protesting soldiers' funerals didn't do it,
I don't see how this will.

Evil has a very long life. Sadly.

15. Right, he sends his family to do his dirty work....
he hasn't been doing much "protesting" himself lately. He's a vile, sickly old man, hopefully not much longer for this world.

12. Honestly, I really hope this is it. I hope this is the end of Phelps.
He's a very sick and dangerous man to be attempting something like this. He'll get what he deserves.

13. What form of "beatdown" do you mean?
I am a gay man who has loathed Phelps for a lot longer than most Americans have known he was alive.

I am glad to have him exposed. I am glad to have him rejected. I don't wish for violence on him.

17. Yeah, but think about it.
Wouldn't this be the PERFECT venue for Fred Phelps? This man thrives on attention.
He knows, almost intuitively, which situations are really loaded, sensitive hot spots.
He didn't pick Princess madeleine (of Sweden) to torment because she's a plain, homely wall flower. He picked her because she's young, and she's cute.

By the way, I just read that Ole Fred allegedly killed his son's girl friend. This is a sick man.:smoke: phew.

18. Kansas contemplating protest ban
I have heard Kansas is studying a ban on protests at funerals.....Hope they make a special exception for Fred's....Surely that would be the mother of all funeral protests!
