So, is this when all the age-appropriate freepers join the military in order to ensure McChrystal's
requisition doesn't have to be met with troops serving their umpteenth terms? Oh darn, if only they'd signed up years ago when they first were championing the Bush/Cheney wars they'd be trained and in the field already and the brutal, endless redeployment of countless men and women wouldn't have been necessary.

Well, better late than never, RW motherfuckers!

Why not post these links to any RW blogs we may happen upon? Oh, and also go old-school hard-ocopyn 'em and revive RationalRose's idea from this good ole thread:

1. I used to carry military enlistment forms whenever I went to an antiwar demonstration..to hand out
to those who were supporting the war in the streets here in the US...but not fighting in it over there.

I had a bumper sticker that said "Draft Young Republicans First!"

2. If they get permission slips from their mommies, they'll join up.
Count on it.

4. Off-Topic, but... Why is there an age limit anyway?

It just doesn't make sense. Why can't a person in their late 30s or 40s enlist, if they want?

5. Seems not off topic.
The most convincing explanation to me is this:

They need them young. It is a serious task of brainwashing and programming to get someone to obey and to kill in the interest of others.
That involves a lot of humiliation in bootcamp to break the person.
A 30 or 40 year old is most likely less susceptible to manipulation.
