Oh c'mon VT. You're such a small state. Since we've got
only one senator here in CT, can't you share Bernie with us?

2. Are you guys organizing against Lieberman
Something legal, and big, and every freaking day. What a putz.

I was wrong about that guy. Never dreamed he'd be this big of an ass.

3. Well, I can honestly say
that I've never liked him. His first senate run, I happily voted Republican, instead of for him. (Lowell Weicker is my kind of Republican).

He's a egomaniacal ass. And has always put his own interests (that is, whatever will get him camera time and notice) before those of his state. He and his people have treated Chris Dodd and his staff like shit.

There really isn't one good thing to say about the man. The only positive thing is that he's behaving so badly that there's no chance he'd get re-elected. (Though I still don't think he intends to run).

6. Interesting
I was really disappointed Gore chose him in 2000, but my mother in Arkansas liked him. Since she was the demographic Lieberman was supposed to appeal to, I guess it was a good call. I wanted Kerry, who the media said would add charisma to the wooden Al Boring. :eyes:

I didn't like him because of all the video game nonsense and similar useless issues, but I never realized he was just a pompous self-centered ass. And I really did think he had just gone cuckoo over 9/11 but that he could be counted on for the rest of the Dem issues, like health care reform. I'm usually not quite that bad of a judge of character, but really blew it with him.

If he's not going to run, you'd think he could at least get the hell out of the way.

11. Well, except that being a great big obstruction gets him
attention. And the man loves attention. And negative responses to his obstructionism seem to simply feed his martyr complex, and only confirm to him that he's the only one out there taking the difficult, moral path.

What a piece of ... work.

9. I told you so, sandnsea! You should have supported Ned Lamont. :-)

You can make up for it by supporting Lamont for governor, though.

My apologies for the gloating, I'd rather have been wrong.

10. lol,
I didn't not like Lamont, I just thought it was a waste of money and energy. I also thought it would create unnecessary conflict, which it has, but that's Lieberman's pinheaded self. I really never thought he'd go this far with a temper tantrum.

Don't apologize for gloating. I have it coming on that one. :)

8. Reminds me of an updated version of the old Quaker gag:
"Everyone's a sellout save me and thee, and I am not sure about thee."
