How are we going to get this all sorted out?
Just looking at many of the topics on this forum alone that realte to wars and the economy , jobs, schools and education. This entire plunge into some sort of health insurance re-form. Equal rights.

You name it you can find it and the outlook is not looking very good.

We don't know for certain which politicians are in the pockets of the corporations yet we do suspect most are.

We can forget about the media for any news.

There is no state that is not in trouble in one form , in fact in many forms.

Many seem willing to support war and many seem quite willing as long is it not in their own back yard to remove mountains for coal like in WV , we see ad's for clean coal when there is no such thing. Many are willing to drill baby drill.

WE watch as wet lands vanish and the air and water is filled with tons of toxic crap daily . We have freaks like Mosanto altering genetics and they call it food. We don't have lables telling us where most food even comes from and products that are labled yet both food and products are for the most part made by slave labor and we are near that slave wage.

Food banks are far short of supply.

The list is endless and none of this is new.

What is going to come to , will it be when both sides who are now so divided are standing side by side finally realizing that we are all on the same sinking ship when it's too late? Perhaps we will still be divided wondering which ship will sink first making our last bets.

One thing and there are so many that really make me sick is how corporations are allowed to own and control everything and their wealth and interests are the peoples sacrifice.

1. Geeze. None of this is new, as you said. But the constant doom and
gloom might finish us all.

The doom and gloom has already finished off a lot of people when this is what they face everyday without any way to escape it. What do you think?

5. Politicians and corps
>We don't know for certain which politicians are in the pockets of the corporations

For a great many of them, we do. It would just take to long to list each one and their specific conflicts of interest. The only way to keep track is to list the ones NOT in the pockets of the corps. I can think of two out of 535 who could meet that test.

6. sort this!
bleak indeed. one upside. democracy also offers us free will. i live in canada, and i am offered the grace of space.
go homestead, squat on some land. take a brake from 24/7 with your mind on society; regimented civilization.
begin taking control of your own proclivities, impulses, weaknesses and strengths.
as overwhelming as the big picture can be, it is escapable, even for a short reprieve.

tomorrow, after "black friday", (good heavens why name a day as such? i suppose it's fitting to the mass consumption and consumerism in north america) buy something organic, feel empowered, and look up.
