Poll question: Is the NRA a business lobby or hot button to fool the rubes?
After this last shooting incident, I wondered about this. What is the impetus for the NRA's all or nothing approach.

1. I wish someone would tell me. I have always wondered why they have so much
influence and such a high profile.

4. It's a multipurpose organization
but I believe they exist primarily for the benefit of arms manufacturers, who would see profits plummet if the 'Iron Pipeline' were to suddenly go dry.

Arms manufacturers need sales of guns to criminals in order to turn a profit. In an ideal world, the FBI would go RICO-Act on their asses!
