I wonder what the people in Connecticut think of their Senator and I wonder if he even cares.
There's tons of video evidence that Lieberman himself has supported healthcare reform, expansion of Medicare, etc. in the past. Now he doesn't when it counts. What does he stand for? Does he expect to be re-elected or does he already have alternate plan B?
I opined previously that his grandstanding against healthcare was a showpiece designed to get him removed from his committeeship and then with great fanfare he would crossover and become a Republican. I still think that my prediction is a possibility.
4. Keep in mind that Hartford is chock-ass full of insurance companies
and you'll see Joementum's strategy. He's looking out for Connecticut's number one industry, they don't make anywhere near that much money selling anything else to the rest of the country.
9. Unfortunately, our state's economy is based upon pharma, insurance and submarines
War, drugs and insurance. That's it. Joe is looking out for the big industries paying his bills, because the people of Connecticut have already rejected him.
