Well worth another read. It's interesting, for me anyway, to look at it in hindsight, and to see how tenuous this administration always was. They were like a house of cards, vicious, ignorant and wholly political. Their abusive partisanship may have given them a short term grip on power, but I always felt it would come back to haunt them. Now look at all the scandals. Look at how badly Iraq has gone. Look at how Dems wiped the floor with this administration and the Republic Party in the midterms. Look how Bush is slightly more popular than a case of the clap in most polls.

It's easy to see how we got to where we are now. And just think not too long ago Rove and all these guys were thinking they had set up some grand plan for permanent Republican dominance. Yeah, that didn't happen.
