1. He had me right up until this line:
Hitler came from Austria, too.

WTF does Hitler have to do with the VT massacre? That one line casts a HUGE shadow over an otherwise well-written piece. Instead, it's easily dismissable as emotional illogical pap. I've come to expect better from Greg Palast.
