Are the Republicans as united as they want people to believe?
No doubt, many of the ditto heads and tea baggers are enthusiastic out of hatred for Barack Obama, the socialist. But, there are many Republicans that have not forgotten the catastrophe of the last Bush Administration. They are not as enthusiastic.

The right-wing media has been going full throttle to tear down the new President and the Democratic Party. However, many may not be ready to crawl thru the broken glass to vote for the Republican candidate? Just maybe they are as disheartened with their Party as many progressives are with their Party?

All these polls may be totally off target?

1. Don't see hate for Obama as much as derision. They must think he's an incompetent empty-suit.

3. If they are united, it's to their detriment!
Lumped together with the Teabaggers, the Birthers, the Deathpanelers... Palin, Steele... man, what a circus! I cannot believe that in the year 2010 we are still seeing human freak shows... pretty weird.

4. Hell no!
They're split right down the middle between moderates and purists.

5. Moderates and purists? LOL! You forgot a LOT of factions...
Douchebags, douchewads, douchenozzles, Palins, FOX talking heads, teabagging idiots, Santorumites, Gingrinchers, ditto-heads, and a guy named Leonard in Toledo who loves him some guns and Bud Lite.

6. They have not been more than 30%..practically forever
BUT they command 80-90% of the MEDIA attention..and have since reagan's era.

That;s WHY sthey started up all those nasty little think tanks and why their richest spent decades buying up all the magazines, papers, radio stations & tv stations.

it's amplification, pure and simple..
republicans LOATHED Clinton, and at their zenith of hatred, he still had 70% approval ratings..

If they could not muster more than 30% THEN, they were never going to go beyond that number..

The Dirty-Thirty is loud & mean , but they are not that many in numbers...

They ARE dangerous though, because they garner the lion's share of attention and propaganda works:(
