1. I do not remember where I found this photo, but I have it in a powerpoint
for my students to see when we study Dr. MLK jr.

I think I found it not long after CSK died. It is credited in my PP on the school server.

5. A beautiful couple, and a beautiful man.

He would be very proud today to see Barack Obama as our President.

I saw him several times, at a distance, but, as a 19-year-old white boy from California, I did not have the personal confidence to push my way forward to shake his hand. I wish I had done so. But, there were people far more deserving of his attention than I was. I was just a face in the crowd.

6. I saw Coretta Scott King years ago...
in the Atlanta airport. I was coming down the escalator toward baggage as Eastern Airlines was paging me because they had cancelled my flight from Lexington and put me on Delta and that's where my luggage was. I was concentrating on the fact that the Delta baggage was at the other end of the terminal and almost didn't pay attention to the crowd that was at the bottom of the escalator. There were several people standing there but one woman drew everyone's attention. It was Coretta Scott King and she was absolutely beautiful. She was standing under a warm light and her skin was luminous and she was simply ethereal. Utterly beautiful woman and such peace surrounded her. I will never forget how she looked.

13. do not know how much is true
Allegations of adultery
Having concluded that King was dangerous due to communist infiltration, the focus of the Bureau's investigations shifted to attempting to discredit King through revelations regarding his private life. FBI surveillance of King, some of it since made public, attempted to demonstrate that he also engaged in numerous extramarital affairs.<152> Further remarks on King's lifestyle were made by several prominent officials, such as Lyndon Johnson, who once said that King was a "hypocritical preacher".<159> Ralph Abernathy, a close associate of King's, stated in his 1989 autobiography And the Walls Came Tumbling Down that King had a "weakness for women".<160><161> In a later interview, Abernathy said he only wrote the term "womanizing", and did not specifically say King had extramarital sex.<162> King's biographer David Garrow detailed what he called King's "compulsive sexual athleticism." Garrow wrote about numerous extramarital affairs, including one with a woman King saw almost daily. According to Garrow, "that relationship, rather than his marriage, increasingly became the emotional centerpiece of King's life, but it did not eliminate the incidental couplings that were a commonplace of King's travels." King explained his extramarital affairs as "a form of anxiety reduction". Garrow noted that King's sexual adventurism was the cause of "painful and overwhelming guilt".<163>

16. This is a lovely picture ...
I have never seen it before. They were both wonderful. She was a beautiful woman and as her life progressed that didn't change. She had grace and an air of serenity which came from having survived the worst and finding a meaningful and productive life afterwards.
