That seems like an awful lot for a spitch that regurgitates the worst of Pat Buchanan, Pat Robertson and Josef Göbbels.

Did anyone hear mention how much she got paid on ABCNNBCSBFixedNoiseNutwork?

I won't hold my breath for Wolf Blitzer or Candy Crowley to bring up the politics-for-profit motive.

1. Amazing, I'm your first recommend with a post that links to Palin lies...
Seems all the "good stuff" about the threats of Palin to Dems get high views and recommendations. There seems to be some odd weighting going on here.

2. Thanks, KoKo. She is Corporate McPravda's darling these days.
It is amazing to see how much media coverage the Quitter and the Tee Beckers have received.
We Democrats underestimate her at our own peril.

9. Yeah... she'd give it back... just like
Alaska gave back the money for the Bridge To Nowhere. She's is nothing more than a "for hire" spokesperson at a convention held by a "for profit" business... in this case, the Tea Bag Nation. What dumbasses. :smoke:

5. I don't think they got their money's worth.
All that was missing was the pole and the strip tease. Really, who besides us lefties, were listening to the words.

6. Mark Hertsgaard reported that very phenomenon in regards to Pruneface Reagan.
The author of "On Bended Knee" wrote Raygun would be delivering devastating economic news or whatever and Michael Deaver knew it didn't matter. He'd get the advance team to load up the stage with a bunch of cheering high schoolers holding flags and balloons, the Gippet would smile, shake his head and say, "Well," and, lo, to the average schmuck who hasn't read a book since high school watching on the tee vee, it looked like all was swell.

8. She must have set up a phony charity.
Palin puts the KKK in kkkonservative. Remember her observation on the Democratic primaries? "So Sambo beat the bitch." Remember, too, Saruh didn't like going to school in Hawaii, which I find strange, having visited that paradise inhabited by truly wonderful people.

Thanks for the kind words, my Friend. While cross-country skiing a couple decades back, I fell down the face of a 100-foot sand dune that was covered in ice, not snow as I thought. I went head over skiis and hit the bottom on my side. I was stunned, but I got up after a minute and chugged along. This thing on Christmas Eve hurt 100-times worse and still hurts. Freaking concrete.

I would call her a Prostitute.
Unfortunatly, that would demean and degrade those hard-working women selling sex on street corners..

Ms. Palin qualifies as a Whore.

14. She certainly is following her calling.
What she serves isn't humanity, however. Her passion is Mammon.

Levi Johnston: Palin Resigned Because Of Money

Judging from the universal media saturation, Mammon is proud. Mighty proud.

12. OMG... I just watched the "question and answer" session!
She actually makes me feel embarrassed for her at times. The reading off the hand... oh yeah! That happened! The applause was far less than I would have expected for that kind of money as well. What a dumbshit!

16. Sad sign of a small mind filled with small things.
Seeing people who have had access to the best things in life expose themselves as self-centered know-nothings never ceases to amaze. Sarah Palin is living proof of the adage that, for some, all they ever really learned was in kindergarden. For her handlers, that's the point: That old dog won't be learning any new tricks.

For example: "Those who can, do. Those who can't, become pundits."

Introducing Sarah Palin, Fox News Pundit

15. They're All Part Of The Problem...
The corporate media has no "morals"...only ratings and egos matter. They know Caribou Barbie is as hated as much on our side of the sandbox as she's loved by the rushpublicans. It means people tuning into their sorry excuse of a "news" channel...and looking at last night's live threads, you could see many who were looking for the train wreck.

The "conventional wisdom" is all that matters to the bleetway stenographers...what their other stenographers have to say and who gets them the talking points. There's no need to fact check or demand specifics...it's all about egos and personalities. They know mooselini gets the eyballs and that means ratings which means money.

17. More than almost anything, Corporate McPravda loves money.
Money, not love of country, constitution or people, drives the nation's mass media. It's a shock to those of us who happen to believe that the nation, to be free, requires a free press.

The only thing ABCNNBCBSFixedNoiseNutworks love more than money is power. It means control for the ownership class. As you noted, KharmaTrain, they gain both promoting Sarah Pin-up.

20. Reagan, MCA and the Mob
Dan Moldea opened my eyes to how the game works:

In 1962, the Antitrust Division of the U.S. Department of Justice tried to resolve some of these questions, but their secret investigation was settled out of court before the evidence could be presented. The results of the probe were never made public, and no one close to MCA was ever indicted. However, through the Freedom of Information Act, many of these documents have been recovered and are excerpted in this book.

These records show that Reagan, the president of SAG and an FBI informant against Hollywood communists, was the subject of a federal grand jury investigation whose focus was Reagan's possible role in a suspected conspiracy between MCA and the actors' union. According to Justice Department documents, government prosecutors had concluded that decisions made by SAG while under Reagan's leadership became "the central fact of MCA's whole rise to power."

Over the past two decades, Ronald Reagan has refused to answer any in-depth questions about how he amassed his personal wealth--currently estimated at more than $4 million. In 1976, when he first ran for president, and again in 1980 and 1984, Reagan managed to avoid any intense scrutiny of his finances. His financial ties to MCA have been virtually ignored, relegated to the category of ancient history.

Nor has Reagan ever been asked about his personal, financial, professional, or political relationship with Sidney Korshak--who has repeatedly appeared to be involved with Reagan and several of his top advisors throughout their careers.

Americans, on the whole, know something is very, very wrong with the country. Most also have no idea of the "how." Thank you for understanding and fighting them, UTUSN.

21. This iwas discussed earlier this morning
I'm trying to remember who said that she spent more money buying her own book than giving to any candidates so they weren't holding their breath that she was going to be pumping this money back to the tea party posse.

I'm betting she and her co-governor Todd will end up in serious financial trouble soon and very soon. They're corrupt Grifters who will do anything for a few thousand dollars.
