Tell Reid to get a spine. Ask, demand, plead for some action.

We need to start an email campaign to Senate Majority Leader Reid. Keep it short and to the point.

Two things:

If the Republicans want to filibuster, make ‘em stand and do it. C-span will cover it non-stop and the media will be on it like a duck on a June bug. Let everybody see that the Republicans are bringing everything to a complete stop and tying up the Senate.

Kick Joe Lieberman off the chairmanship of the Homeland Defense Committee. Show the blue dogs that there are consequences for bucking (that’s with a B) the party. We no longer have the “60 votes” so who needs Lieberman, not a Democrat by choice and an ally to the Republicans.

They don’t open snail mail anymore since the anthrax attacks (a terrorist attack on Bush’s watch that nobody has been punished for) so email is the best way to contact them.
