Repugs don't know the difference between weather and climate, why isn't that an issue? Let's make it
one.

Climate - The long-term manifestations of weather and other atmospheric conditions in a given area or country, now usually represented by the statistical summary of its weather conditions during a period long enough to ensure that representative values are obtained (generally 30 years).

Weather - The short term state of the atmosphere at a specific time and place, including the temperature, humidity, cloud cover, precipitation, wind, etc.

http://en.wiktionary.org/wiki/climate

Why are the Dems making it so complicated? Why not a daily mantra "Anyone with a brain knows the difference between climate and weather".

1. You're right and I don't know why they have managed to manipulate
this issue as they have. Then again, they seem to do this very well with most issues; truth be damned.

4. So what Dem will be willing to take up the meme "they don't even know the difference"?
Time to contact Merkely. He's a big climate change person, maybe he can make it his issue.

10. Because they have Grover Norquist holding weekly meetings to form talking points
and focus groups run by the likes of Lunz.

Democrats have..... nothing.

2. Similar to their inability to distinguish between nouns and adjectives. Again - you cannot fix
STUPID and they are completely inundated with it.

And flog you with years of experience.

5. So let's bring it down to their level. "They're too stupid to know the difference". This is their
level. Right out of GOP playbook so why not turn it around on them?

There is something about the "being above all that" or "don't stoop to their level" argument that always seems to pop up at the wrong time. IMO, this attitude has cost us plenty this year alone, and it has cost us many elections in the past. The Republicans just swift boat in, and everyone is supposed to be "above all that"

I'm with you on this. Our party needs to learn how respond aggressively and appropriately. Otherwise, we become complicate in their crimes by creating an atmosphere their nonsense can flourish in.

Obama trying to play nice with the rebublicans is a great example of this arrogance. That strategy will wash us all down the toilet in time.
