I still can't believe that it is actually a debate. We have the stupidest most selfish people in the world.

5. It's worse than that -- that debate never even happened...
what with Single Payer "taken off the table" before the game even got started last spring.

6. Psyched!
This is great - I'm heading to the Washington state Democratic party annual meeting and activist training on Monday! Sen. Murray will be there! I am handing out my resume (laid off in this recession) for a position on a political team (I know..desperate move! :) ).

Hopefully, she'll have this on her mind. I'm an AVID single-payer advocate. I also sent the President an email (on whitehouse.gov) asking why he won't meet with Dr. Flowers.

On Edit:
* Would you favor or oppose the national government offering everyone the choice of a government administered health insurance plan — something like the Medicare coverage that people 65 and older get — that would compete with private health insurance plans?

Favor 82%

Oppose 14%

Not Sure 4%

11. Pffft -- as you know, we don't even really call what we had 'rain'! My neighbors
from North Carolina would have been huddling under umbrellas (and shocked that so many of us don't even own one!) :hi:

10. In the old (pre-VP) days, Biden probably would have come out and talked to
the people. And Murray should have anyway, we're the ones who elected her!

I'm glad Biden is here for her. Although she pisses me off sometimes, I read where her spot may be shaky, and I'd hate to see a Republican Senator from the Great State of Washington! :patriot:
