16. Thousands of unburied corpses under the rubble.
Their dead relatives coming back to pull the living into the Grave.

18. LOL
I'm more sure that the rains will expose thousands of missing bodies. I only hope families can find closure by recognizing hair, teeth, clothing, etc.

19. Isn't he a former drug addict?
If so, the ones that use religion to reform have a bad track record. Better that he lay low. But that's not likely, he'd have to get a job cuz he sucks as an actor in evil Hollywood.

6. Oh no -- I heard just this morning that they were concerned about
the rains that were due to come. :( I thought they were referring to a rainy season, some time in the future. Not NOW!

AND, I heard a reporter this morning saying that we keep thinking they have tents, when many really only had a sheet covering them -- if that.

7. Rainy season is coming
I noticed the yellow pouis in bloom here this morning - that's a sure sign. We are desperate for the rain as we're facing the worst drought in three decades, but Haiti sure doesn't need the rain that will be here within two weeks.

8. My God I hope they can get some more shelters up and running
by then. These people must just feel like when things are maybe starting to head in the right direction, they get kicked in the gut again.

10. I just looked at the weather map
and the rain in Haiti today was way up North not in the areas devastated by the earthquake. That said there must be many buildings on the verge of collapse across Haiti.

14. Not pulling out
just reducing the military presence from 20,000 to 12,000.

17. Wow, that's quite a cutback, but I guess it's understandable since
our military is needed elsewhere to fight the war on terra. :eyes:
