Even that number surprises me.

But his numbers were up a little last week - most polls had him at 35 to 38. Guess this hasn't been such a good week for him.

1. Rasmussen's polls have been tracking lower as well
For several months previously they had Bush hovering in the low 40's, only occasionally dropping into the 30's, but always bouncing back up to 40%-43%.

Well lately, those numbers have been hovering in the high 30's more often than not, only occasionally bobbing back up to the low 40's, but always coming down again.

Rasmussen's Bush approval ratings have historically tracked higher than all other professional polls.

2. I just checked polling report - CBS has him at 32%
He must be going down all over.

His stupid response to the Gonzales affair must be really hurting him.

3. Bush isn't going anywhere but down. There are still a few puppets out
there who believe in Bush and his war. They will soon crawl back to reality and find out the war was never going to be won. They were taught "War is fun" and "you don't have to sacrifice a thing". The wake-up is a bitch.
