Rubio (FL-R) Gets "Expensive" Haircut..

Of the approximately $125,00 in expenses former Florida House Speaker Marco Rubio put on a Republican Party of Florida-issued American Express card between 2006 and 2008, perhaps the most chatter today surrounded a $133.75 bill at an upscale Miami barber shop.

While the expense showed up on the Republican AmEx, Rubio paid the tab at Churchill’s Barber Shop himself and never charged it to the state GOP, a Rubio spokesman Alex Burgos said today.

Still, the expenditure generated the kind of tonsorial attention lavished on Bill Clinton for his Christophe-administered Air Force One clip job in 1993 or John “Two Americas” Edwards for his $400 coiffures during the 2008 presidential campaign.

“An expensive haircut, it looks like,” said Gov. Charlie Crist, who’s running against Rubio in a nationally watched GOP Senate primary.

MSNBC political guru Chuck Todd mentioned the haircut — and Crist’s campaign circulated the clip to reporters.

1. The elite have no concept of what the masses expense are. A "normal" haircut
is around $12.00...they wouldn't even know how to live within modest means.

2. I must admit the first one I thought of was JE. Marco Rubio is the
little brother jeb bush wishes he had and is his mentor. I am registered as an "I" here in Florida so will do my best to not elect Rubio. Charlie has his problems too but he's a much better guy, at least IMO..

4. He got his "cut" in Miami..Haha. Also, and this is RUMOR....
Charlie may very well switch to the Dem Party. I have no link or anything to back this up except talk at City Hall where our second-term Mayor is looking for a way to make herself a third termer. I asked someone who is in Tallahassee a lot how Charlie was really doing and she said this is the talk. Of course talk is cheap but as a Floridian I would welcome him and so would my local Dem party. I do remember that "chit chat" Crist and POTUS had when POTUS came down and spoke in Tampa and wonder if that was any part of the conversation. Just have to wait and see.

5. If someone was getting ready to do a lot of television, this would make sense...
but if I was going to spend $133.75 on hair services, I wouldn't go to a "barber" and it won't be the same color at the end of the work.

6. When John Edwards got that expensive haircut, likewise Bill Clinton
All of the Cable News nattering nabobs of negativism

7. Interesting that Charlie took the bait on this
Now all of his expenses are fair game. I'll bet he doesn't go to Supercuts.

8. Rubio doesn't have a 'beard'
Christ is very neat, tanned and clean per SMiller and didn't get a wife till he had presidential aspirations
