I'm not calling Byrd or Rockefeller's Offices any more
I'm not going to call Senator Byrd or Senator Rockefeller's Offices here around the state or in Washington anymore. Nor am I going to e-mail them anymore. There's really no reason to. Byrd, who has one foot in the grave and doesn't stand a chance to run again, dosen't thrill me like he once did. He is a star on Constitutional issues, but when it comes to serving the people of West Virginia and the Nation, well, he'd have us all eating coal if the filthy shit made the coal companies richer. Rockefeller is a waste. No better than Byrd on issues related to the black death which is coal, the lively turd abandoned us in favor of the CIA and NSA with his unforgivable positions during the Bush Presidency and since, but even that might be forgivable but to stay in power a carpetbagger has to serve, and on the health care issue he denies us even that. "Sharks that swim unseen, just below the surface" indeed. Who the hell does he think he is making some petty procedural complaint when the very lives of the people of one of, if not THE, poorest states in the nation - the people who sent him to the luxury of Washington - depend on the health care he shows so little care about.

So screw 'em. I'm not going to call or write them anymore, and I'm not going to be voting for either of them either.

And another thing - god dam it - because the more I think about that scumbag Rockefeller the more he pisses me off. Remember that idiotic hand scrawled letter he hid away in a safe - to cover his ass in case Cheney got caught at some unconstitutional shit? His cowardly ass would not do the right thing then and he puts up some horseshit excuse not to do the right thing now. For Christsakes, can't we get any better than him?

I figure the moderators will give this post about 10 minutes if I'm lucky, but fuck it. When you've got a worthless hunk of shit for a Senator and he calls himself a Democrat, well, he's still a worthless hunk of shit.

3. I'm wondering what the point is of calling any of these jokers
At the end of the day, a senator is going to do pretty much whatever he/she wants. They know that there will be plenty of corporate cash to dupe the voters with come election time.

4. His remarks yesterday moved me deeply. That's why I cannot understand why he won't
at least TRY. Even if there is no chance of passage, why won't the Democrats at least TRY, dammit!!!
