John McCain misses all references to satire (Is this man living on another planet)
Normally I wouldn't care much about what passes for news at fauxnews, but this is too funny to pass up. McCain who has long since heard the cries from his conservative base that he is too moderate or worse yet a RINO, now finds himself embroiled in a heated primary scuffle with his more conservative primary challenger J.D. Hayworth

In a recent attack ad payed for by J.D. Hayworth McCain is depicted in a blue painted face, with the caption John McCain - "Nominee for Best Conservative Actor." The satire would and should easily be clear to anybody that has been keeping up with popular culture that this is a parody of the movie Avatar which is heavily favored to take home the most Oscars at the upcoming Academy Awards.

Sadly however it seems that John McCain wasn't to quick to pick up on the reference or the general nature of the satire.

...McCain, who is accusing his Republican primary opponent of insulting Native Americans.

But it's also the part that may have Hayworth wondering what planet McCain is on -- since the ad appears to be a sendoff of the blockbuster film Avatar, in which case the blue warpaint is a reference to the fictional, blue-skinned Na'vi people on the distant world of Pandora.

Regardless, McCain is demanding that Hayworth apologize.

These two idiots, but especially McCain are putting on quite a show.

I guess McCain really has no ability to pick up on satire or maybe the last time he watched a movie was back when films lacked audio. This is yet another example of why McCain, like so many other Republicans, are so out of touch with people in this country, or even this "planet"

Please John get yourself some young hip adviser who can quickly bring you up to speed on the intricacies of satire. Oh lord...

3. I give him some room, personally
But have no mercy with his ramming loony policy and laws down our throats. But he was put through hell and is old. I respect both. If he would get out of politics he might retain a legacy to be proud of. But his quirks and sick political attitudes leech out like nuclear waste.
