Eliminate the caps on FICA and MEDI and get the profit out of health insurance. Single payer, no more caps. Sing it children. Single payer, no more caps. Single payer, no more caps.

3. Ending the FICA cap would save SS and help Medicare.
And Medicare-for-all would help Medicare even more.

The PO should be a universal Medicare buy-in.

5. The debacle
we have witnessed, looks to me like a massive effort to NOT let that one, simple fix thrive and be enacted.

Considering how much money and time may have been expended to accomplish prevention, we probably could have funded single payer for a few years with it ;) Of course, special interests and their goals and well being are the sore thumb that revealed itself here in direct contrast to the common good and the welfare of the underclass and failing middle class.

6. Which way to single payer? How do you get there?
Public insurance with low premiums and great coverage which the for-profits can't compete with.

Or just lower the age of Medicare eligibility to zero.

8. K&R
Unfortunately it doesn't look like anyone is even going to be allowed to suggest such a thing on national television, because then people might decide they want it.
