Although I don`t have the courage to actually watch him, I understand Glenn Beck is using his blackboard to help weed out non-allowable entrants into his American utopia. His is an interesting little village...no health care, no African Americans, no gay, Arabic-speaking Iraq War veterans, no history books, no portraits of Paul Wellstone, no green-ups or clean-ups, no global warming. Just a lot of chalk, a lot of just-so uniforms and a framed copy of The Fourteen Points of Fascism.

Beck attracts people like those who`d demand a 12-year old raped by her uncle be government-forced to have his child, people with posters of Rugers and jokes about nooses who spit at blacks and accuse Rep. John Lewis of impersonating a civil rights activist. Beck attracts Birthers and Flat-Earthers that pop up most every day on corporate-news-reader teevee...all for the public good and all in the name of some kind of crazed balance.You know these folks, they see Russia from their living rooms and Socialists around every corner. They love to mock people who have horrible illnesses and not enough insurance and they love ridiculing children if they think they`re looking for a handout...even if it`s for their dying mother.

The Becksters know God would bomb all the public schools (after He took out Iran)and He`d fight on their side against Socialized Medicine and grammar school hot lunch programs. He`d cheer with them for all college grads, not because they graduated but because they`re saddled with enormous student loan debt. That`s what you get for studying to be an Elitist. Do you suppose these might be some of the same folks who denigrated Senator Kerry`s Vietnam War service while they cheered their AWOL hero president? Were they the ones who voted for Saxby Chambliss instead of the "pro-terrorist" Max Cleland? The same people who wore those awful purple heart band-aids and booed Cindy Sheehan? The torture lovers and the UN haters? Remember...to these folks, outing a CIA agent is no big deal and if an innocent man sits on death row...well, that`s one less job robbed from a White Man.

These are really dangerous times. We can blame it all on economic strife if we want to but I think something else is going on. I can`t remember another time in my 60-something years that this kind of disgraceful cruelty and blatant inhumanity was so widespread and so proudly aired on national television.
