8. Yep.
And anyone who listened to his AA show knows that he is brilliant and a true asset in the Senate.

12. True Dat. Randi Rhodes hated Franken, I also think her listeners and people
who feel Al made to much money didn't want him to be the senator from MN.

They can all kiss my ass. I loves me some Al Franken.

2.  I wasn't aware anyone here was against Franken
Certainly once he was nominated, I can't imagine any DUer being against him.

9. As an exercise, replace AF with BO or even HRC and you will have your answer.
:)

14. Believe me, there were people at DU against Al in the primary
There was a clear faction here against Franken in 2008.

15. I'm actually more impressed with him as a senator than I ever was with his radio show
The radio show seemed to be a clearing house of DLC talking points (and sometimes worse, with resident AEI members, etc.) and was generally a snoozefest. I was worried that was the kind of Senator he would be. Better than Norm the used car salesman Coleman, but not by much.

Thankfully, he's turned into an actual Democrat since leaving Air America. :)
