If you give a damn about Veterans, listen and do something
Please hear about this decorate veteran and what our government did to him. Awarded a medal by President Clinton. If you can't make a few calls to try and fix this hideousness then how can you possible honor any veteran's service. Please listen, make the calls, and tell others because this man and others like him put it all on the line for us and the least we can do is make a few phone calls don't you think. 1. Hector Barajas?
He's a communications consultant to Republicans, looking to replace the "liberal" Jerry McNerny. I'd take whatever he says with a truckload of salt.

6. NO wrong Hector
This is not the same Hector. Please take note of this fact. I can attest it isn't the same since I have direct communications with Hector and Fabian. Thanks

4. No this Hector is a banished Veteran but the interview isn't Hector but Fabian
Edited on Sun Mar-28-10 04:03 PM by SargeUNN
Hector is now in Mexico because he was deported. Fabian was on in his place and Fabian is a decorated Kosovo veteran who was awarded a medal in person by President Bill Clinton for saving the life of his commander, but now deported for having a check bounced after losing his job. Neither Hector nor Fabian are active in any political party so you have the wrong Hector.

Hector was unable to be on due to a documentary is being made about these Veterans and also he had to meet with a lawyer who is trying to help get him back to the United States so Fabian came in his place.

7. This story has me upset because it is so wrong Please Act
We are deporting honorably discharged Veterans and in the case of Fabian, one who has even been awarded a medal for heroism. This isn't only sad, but it also is a national security issue. Imagine training these people for war and then abandon them. A few will and have joined cartels that gets them just to do harm to the USA and because they feel that Americans don't care about them and has shown they don't want them, they start joining. Thankfully Fabian and Hector refused to join them because they love the USA and are trying through proper channels to right the wrong. Fabian tells in the show of one that did join the cartel and Fabian was offered the chance and refused it. These Cartels are offering them big money and these Veterans are living on almost nothing. Please take this serious and call your Congress people to stop this. We can do it, but if we are too unconcerned to make the calls then we are just asking for the harm that can and will come, as well as to mention that we will allow this to continue. Thousands have faced this already, how many more are we going to allow to be affected?
