Is there a DU/Democratic Underground group/site on FaceBook?

I'm curious if DU has one.

I realize that many(maybe most) on DU and other sites prefer to stay anonymous

Some of us don't care.

so I'm wondering . . .

3. I don't get it

I read the 'wall' at both sites, and I saw nothing that appeals to me. That applies to the entirety of Facebook, so I'm not picking on those two groups. I've tried to find something of value at Facebook, but for the life of me, I just don't get it. I don't consider myself antisocial, but I don't care to know anything about the personal lives of family, friends & acquaintances that I don't already know.

First of all - I'm 59, crossed through every province in Canada, and over 25 of the States south of me.

I've lived in over 50 different dwellings, and had as many employments . .

So I've met thousands of people, face to face - and have forgotten many of them, and they have forgotten me.

When I find ONE -

I check through THEIR friends, and many times find others.

I have made contact with people that I have not seen or heard from for over 4 decades - -

Some are happy to reconnect with me

every ONE reconnection is a wee piece of gold to me.

5. Yes, and the DUers there seem pretty friendly.

There is a also a Young Turks group. I was hoping to be a TYT fan and get videos on my news feed, but I don't think one exists.

Anyway, I ended up adding a couple of DUers to my friend list. None of whom live anywhere near me, but who seem like cool people.
