The right-wing evangelical crowd rallied around her cause, claiming that her life would be in danger if she were returned to her Muslim parents (as if all Muslims are stark raving mad extremists).
Now that she is staying in foster care while the case works its way through the legal system, there's a possibility that she and her family could be deported back to Sri Lanka. Turns out they weren't here legally.
So what's a right-winger to do in this case? Do they continue to support this Christian convert, or do they stick to their anti-illegal immigration stance and deport her?
