1. It's like a particularly virulent cancer...
Can't we radiate it?

3. Don't know if Sam intended the growth or not is questionable but I don't think

that the Wal-Mart of today is what Sam had in mind.

When he was alive, Wal-Mart promoted American products, local products. My wife has worked for Wal-Mart for more than 25 years some of that was when Sam was still alive. She even had the opportunity to meet him once. The guy was not a snob like those who run the company now. He would never treat people the way they treat their employees.

I think that Wal-Mart will see a demise just as Sears, Montgomery Ward, and K Mart. All once very large and were household names and the largest retailer in the country, now much smaller than they were.

5. What you're really watching are....
Chinese products appearing and American jobs disappearing. That's what it means.

6. Interesting. By the mid 80s it was already super dense
but existed only in the South.

7. Hey Walamrt there's some open spots in the desert!
Yes a cancer, diabetes and a blast to the head to America's local businesses.

In Decorah Iowa Walmart picked a spot in the floodplain of the protected Upper Iowa River knowing full well what they were doing. The Iowa DNR fought them in court and lo' and behold the illegal construction was forced to completion with an exemption. Billion monthly are sucked out of every community these bastards arrive at and send it to the sociopaths in Bentonville. It's a curse and a scourge and one I hope to live long enough to see fall. Boycott them or at least minimize your shopping there.
