If you don't know, I am writing a blog about my march toward a lung transplant. Could happen as soon as late August or early September.

Here is the first paragraph...
"First of all, the latest tax season was very, well, taxing for me. It took all I had and then some to get it all done on time. I was happy that I only had to file a few extensions and that I was able to get most of the returns back to my clients in a reasonable amount of time. My clients really understand and I cannot tell them how much their loyalty has meant to me over the last few years."
I have been content over the last six or seven years that I have been posting on DU to stay right here, do all my yakking and musings and whatever in the comfy confines of DU. I love it here and have had a lot of fun and made some great friends to boot. I am going to add a link on my Blog to my Journal here on DU but warn people that I get pretty political over here, as to be expected.
I am new at this blog stuff and had to spend way too much time figuring out how to have a home page while allowing for posts on the second page. It's not perfect yet but I did finally get the home page (aka Who I am and why I am doing this...,) to stay put. But I do have two static pages that I will have to deal with as soon as I get the hang of it.
Don't get me wrong, this is my cyber home, right here, but I want to reach out to other people I know, such as clients and family and Friends, many who may not lean left and many who are apolitical.
I know I have rubbed some people, on rare occasion (LOL), the wrong way. Please don't hold that against me and join me in my quest for a new life. It's not often we get a do over in life. I have a chance to go around another time and on this upcoming lap, I will be able to breath. What a wonderful dream for someone who is running almost on empty.
All I can add right now is thanks for all the support over the years.
Oh one more thing, is it against DU protocol to announce when I have updated my Blog?
