I do not agree, so I did not repost..
From a Facebook post:

"So they just passed a health care plan written by a committee whose chairman says he didn't understand it, passed by a Congress that exempts themselves from it, signed by a president who smokes, with funding administered by a treasury chief who didn't pay his taxes, all to be overseen by a surgeon general who is obese and better yet it is to be financed by a country that's broke? repost if you agree"

1. A good warm-up before continuing to write my appellate brief.
"So they just passed a health care plan written by a committee whose chairman says he didn't understand it,..."

I'm pretty sure Sn. Baucus understands it. Whoever wrote this little slam obviously doesn't.

"...passed by a Congress that exempts themselves from it,..."

Not really. Congress has socialized medicine. Their coverage is more comprehensive than what the reform act requires.

"...signed by a president who smokes,..."

Ad hominem attempt to change the subject. Obama's bad habits have nothing to do with the merits of this law.

"...with funding administered by a treasury chief who didn't pay his taxes,..."

That's not really true and even if it were, it is still irrelevant to this law.

"...all to be overseen by a surgeon general who is obese..."

Haven't noticed. Again irrelevant.

"...and better yet it is to be financed by a country that's broke?..."

The Federal govt. is broke. The country is still pretty well flush. Repealing the Bush tax cuts would cure that.

"...repost if you agree"

Well, clearly I don't.
