in the media please explain why Greeks protesting increased taxes and salary cuts are a mob given their views on these issues.

1. I've actually seen some feedback via comments sections on editorials

and the freepers are siding with the mob. They cite the usual fight against socialism arguments, but so far I've seen either them ignoring the issue or siding with the mob and seeing it as evidence of why Socialism doesn't work.

2. Personally, I think we'll see the same thing happening in the USA in about 5 years. The country will

be so far in debt because of the demand to have 'lower taxes' we will be approaching bankruptcy. Then the people will be angry about the cuts to all government-funded things. Not sure if Americans will 'riot', but they will have the wish of 'no new taxes' and don't touch the 'free market'.
