Smokes cigars and doesn't like plump juicy sausages..."

Stephen Cobert does it again. Puts the whole thing in perspective...

Great segment...

2. My husband died when I was 50
I played softball, didn't like beer or cigars but never remarried. Cause I didn't like the hassle. I liked being independent. I'm not a lesbian. Isn't it odd how people associate certain things with certain people.

Hey let's start to associate being gay with republican lawmakers, like governors who have smirky grins. Like McDonnell of Virginia. And having hanging jowls like Christie of New Jersey. Maybe not having a chin like McConnell the minority leader of the senate. Boy couldn't we start something. Make THEM look like putzs for a change.

5. Colbert, as he always does, made it so absurd that any thinking person would
just laugh and then realize how silly all this questioning in the media really is about any female nominee...

4. Didn't they do this shit to Sotomayor too?
Also Napolitano, Mrs Clinton, Janet Reno...

something like 80% of women in leadership positions get the "must be gay" whisper attack.

No, correction: 80% of Democratic women.

6. Sounds like a friend of mine
She's 52, single (divorced) , loves a good cigar, drinks beer with the best of them, plays softball...might be considered to look a little "butch" by some. And oh yeah, if it's anybody's business, she happens to be straight.

And if she wasn't, so what, she'd still be my friend. What the hell business is it of mine to tell people how they should live? It's time for this society to grow the fuck up. I can't imagine how we must look to the rest of the civilized world, trumpeting "freedom and liberty" from our propaganda machine while we seek to oppress the freedom of those that don't fit a certain mold.

disgraceful :grr:
