Dick Cheney's 'Energy Task Force' gave the go-ahead to drilling platforms to save $500,000 per rig by not regulating them and not requiring the safety shut-off valve that could have stopped the flow of oil into the Gulf.

Dick Cheney forever owns the murder of the Gulf and perhaps the murder of our oceans.
