Tuesday night should be entertaining here in North Idaho
There are three Republicans vying for Walt Minnick's seat.

The first one is Harley Brown. This guy is entertaining in ways you can't imagine--but he lists the four elections he's lost under "public service," so don't worry much about him.

The reason this is going to be entertaining: Vaughn Ward has been endorsed by Sarah Palin, who came to Boise to speak to a Ward rally. (This was pretty humorous: for some reason Palin showed up in Boise with no clothes, so one of Ward's people had to take her to the store for an outfit. Palin paid her for that one.) Vaughn Ward also thinks Puerto Rico is a country.

On the other hand, Raul Labrador, who currently serves in Idaho's congress, has been endorsed by Tea Party Boise. From what I've heard, when Palin spoke in Boise there were teabaggers outside protesting her presence.

The Spokesman-Review in Spokane has endorsed Labrador--most North Idahoans read it, so that's fine. As far as I know my own paper doesn't endorse candidates.

But yeah, Palinites v. Teabaggers...should be fun.
