New investment strategy, bet AGAINST the Republicans two years out...
In the leadup to the 2006 elections, the Republicans touted an "ownership society" and urged everybody to buy a house.

Two years later, the housing market bubble burst.

Two years ago, the Republicans were screaming "DRILL BABY DRILL". We see where that got us.

Quite frankly, I'm thinking seriously about investing in tourism from Mexico to the United States and a company that specializes in catering gay weddings given what the Republicans are pushing so hard this year. I figure in two years, both businesses will be able to start selling franchises nationwide.
