I should also add. I like my car, but I wish I didn't have to use it. I've changed the engine and transmission. I know how much energy I put into it, and it's too much. Multiply it by every car out there and it's a waste.

Just think if we put all the money we spent on oil and cars into science and renewalables.

We complain about gas prices, the damage done by oil spills. Every time we buy one of those big cars, drive our cars, complain about traffic which gets more roads built, elect politicians who build more roads:

We do it to ourselves.

Tell the politicians to build fewer roads. Tell them to invest more in public transit. If you don't like the bus or anything else, find something new to tell your friends about. My friends know how how I feel about this stuff, and I think the more I complain, maybe someday they will listen, and see the light.
