6. +1 on both counts (and I'm a Californian).
But not one of those who would ever vote for Arnold, for example.

3. If I were a California voter, she'd have my primary vote!
It would be fantastic to have the GOP candidates for governor/lt. governor saddled with that big pile o' crazy.

9. Today's our primary; only Republicans can vote for her...
IF she wins, and that's a big IF, then we get to throw her ass out in November...

I can't see her winning against a good solid Democrat. We are NOT that dumb.

:hi:

19. Dear God I hope you're right! I've had the opportunity to visit
Ca. 3 times, and I have nothing but wonderful memories! I do't live anywhere even close to yo, but I truely would cry (as I did when Arnold got elected) for the destruction of such a beautiful State!

12. Could we go through some electoral history and let you rethink
that assumption? LOL

California may be the land of fruits and nuts, but they likewise don't draw the line at absolutely certifiably insane... (In all fairness, I don't know hardly any states that don't at least have one Congressional District that would fit that bill)

13. In a low-turnout primary, a handful may be all it takes
that's what's helping teabaggers in NV and elsewhere.

The sane candidate's best hope is that the millions spent by both Whitman and Poizner in the governor's race will get enough humanoid repukes to the polls lift him over Oily Taint.

If California has electronic voting machines, it probably doesn't really matter who the people vote for anyway, someone else decides the outcome. :(

28. this has been one of the most entertaining political seasons in CA
First it was the all Meg all the time ads, Brown didn't have to spend a dime, she spent so much money and was so annoying that she dropped like a rock in the polls.

Then there was the batshit crazy Fiorna ads only to be followed up by an ad she now runs that use Sara Palin endorsements.

The a dipshit Democrat started running an ad for his AG run, his claim to fame, 'wrote and enacted the privacy policy while at Facebook'

29. This is why people should NOT wish for Palin to run for the WH
Don't underestimate the stupidity of the general voting public.

And the media would LOVE her to run. They'd LOVE it and they won't be able to contain themselves at the excuse to cover her every move. And no, they won't be critical of her. They'll prop her up as much as they can.

And still some people will wonder why they'd do that.
