3. Still, it's got to be disturbing
Edited on Wed Jun-09-10 08:22 AM by customerserviceguy
that even in a state as blue as California, a quarter of the GOP electorate is willing to support a known full-goose-bozo nutcase.

6. California has islands of liberalism in a red state
It just so happens that the islands are where the largest concentration of liberals live. Outside of the Bay Area and LA and environs it's all mostly red.

7. We turn out blue in the big contests...
But if you look at an electoral map, you'll see that the liberal areas are along the densely populated coasts...

The eastern part of the state is less well populated, but they vote red, reliably.

Those are the people who voted for that nut.

16. And again
that's what scares me. There are red states that don't have nearly enough thinking voters like those on California's coast to offset those who would actually vote for an undisputable nut job.

10. Her campaign manager, Pam Barnett had already filed a lawsuit agaisnt Dunn
Orly, who is all about undoing the will of the people, had her campaign manager, Pamela Barnett, file a lawsuit claiming that Dunn lied on his application. The AG and the SoS investigated and said it was OK but that didn't stop Orly. An emergency appeal was denied within hours last week in the case. In lower court the case was continued until after the election where it will die a slow death like all of Orly's cases. I love the way she bills herself as a "Constitutional lawyer" when she hasn't won a single damn case. OK, to be fair she beat a traffic ticket for driving over 100 mph.

14. 368,316 votes for Taitz...
How many institutions will need to be built to house 368,316 self identified insane people?
