Poll question: If there was an election yesterday in which you were eligible to vote, did you?
I ask this mainly out of curiosity about DU as compared to the rest of the population.

By the way, I did vote.

4. Thank God prop 16 failed.
That would have driven me nuts.

I'm glad that people saw PG&E's power grab for what it is, in this case literally.

7. I didn't see a single ad against it, so it gives me faith in the electorate.
Guarded faith, mind you.

The corporate pro-16 ads were very convincing, suggesting that requiring a supermajority vote for municipalities to "take your energy provider" away is, well, the Right Thing To Do!

Didn't work.

9. The framing of it as some kind of power to the people movement really bugged me.
Like that's really what PG&E cares about.

5. Yes I voted
Not a lot of contested races on the Democratic side, Roxanne Conlin and two other gentlemen to run for U.S. Senate aginst grassley and a couple of local races. I voted for Conlin simply because I think she has the fund raising ability and name recognition to beat grassley and he really has to go.
