Angle Floated Idea of Armed Insurrection

In an interview earlier this year, Nevada Senate candidate Sharron Angle (R) appeared to float the possibility of armed insurrection if "this Congress keeps going the way it is," reports Greg Sargent.

Said Angle: "You know, our Founding Fathers, they put that Second Amendment in there for a good reason and that was for the people to protect themselves against a tyrannical government. And in fact Thomas Jefferson said it's good for a country to have a revolution every 20 years. I hope that's not where we're going, but you know if this Congress keeps going the way it is, people are really looking toward those Second Amendment remedies and saying my goodness what can we do to turn this country around? I'll tell you the first thing we need to do is take Harry Reid out."

3. it seems the racist fringe think they have support, and they feel emboldened to speak out
Last time I recall the white supremacists feeling so openly "proud" was with David Duke - and even then he (and they) used code phrasing instead of blatant calls for violence.

I find it disheartening that we have such bigots in our midst still - I had hoped that the election of Obama meant we were truly evolving as a nation. Instead the visceral fear of a black President seems to have brought the closeted racists into the open. Will the public scorn and repudiate their views?

I truly do not know.

4. The only thing wrong with THIS congress is the republicans
and their constant blocking of all the bills. Their constant holds on Obama's appointees. I would like to know what in the hell THIS congress is doing if they really wanted an out of control congress why in the hell didn't they say something about the previous republican run one. That helped bush and cheney ruin this country.

"If I can't get what I want fair and square, I have no compunction about taking it by force."

At least we can say we were warned.
